Creative Director & Employee Relations
Lindsey, a senior manager at Couch Lambert, LLC, has over 20 years of experience in litigation management. Additionally, she has 19 years of dance experience and almost 10 years as a dance mom. With her extensive dance background, creative vision, and management talents, Lindsey brings valuable skills to the Fusion Four. She is married and has one child Skylar, who has almost 10 years of dance and 2 years of competition experience.
Special Events Coordinator
Stacy earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of New Orleans. She then pursued a career as a licensed physical therapist assistant, specializing in outpatient orthopedic and sports therapy for over two decades. Stacy's passion for dance began at the age of 8, particularly in tap dancing. She was a member of her school's competition team for several years and later obtained her teaching certification. During high school, she was a cheerleader for Archbishop Chapelle and currently contributes to the community as a coach/director for the cheer program at Girard Playground. Additionally, she is actively involved in the St. Ann school board and leads her daughter's Girl Scout troop. Stacy is a dedicated mother to Reagan, who has been dancing at Fusion since 2018.
Operations & Finance Director
Laura Hawkins serves as the Chief of Strategic Advancement for New Schools for New Orleans and as an independent consultant for philanthropies, non-profits, and state and local education agencies focused on school improvement and charter school authorizations. Previously Laura was an interim Assistant Superintendent for the Louisiana Department of Education leading the team responsible for the development of the state’s consolidated funding and school improvement processes and the creation of LDOE’s systems for charter school authorization, oversight, and accountability. She held executive leadership roles with the state’s Recovery School District and served as the Research Manager at the Cowen Institute for Public Education Initiatives. Laura earned a B.A. in Sociology from Tulane University, and a Master’s in Urban Studies from the University of New Orleans. She is on the advisory board for Tulane’s Education Research Alliance. Laura is mom to Helen and has been a Fusion parent since 2017.
Recruitment & Retention, Communications Director
Lara is a nurse practitioner, talented chaos coordinator, and experienced dance mom with 2 solid years of dance and 12 years of competitive cheer. She graduated from Charity School of Nursing in 2005 with an Associates Degree in Nursing, ULL with BSN, MSN and ultimately a doctor of nursing practice, Lara worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room at East Jefferson General Hospital (EJ). She then worked as a nurse practitioner in the Heart Failure Clinic at EJ and developed and implemented a telehealth program for her patients during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her research and work on telehealth and artificial intelligence has been published and she was awarded a research grant from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Lara was an instrumental part of the EJ Cardiology program earning it's American College of Cardiology accreditation and EJ receiving it's 5th Magnet designation. Currently she is the director of Professional Development and Clinical Education for EJ, Lakeside Hospital, Tulane Downtown ED, and Lakeview Hospital in Covington. Lara brings experience with program development, teamwork, and communications to the Fusion Four. She is the proud mother of Sadie.
